Bacharach 3015-8004 H-10 Pro Refrigerant Leak Detector Bacharach's H-10 PRO is a versatile, high-performance refrigerant leak detector that has been re-engineered on a proven platform with enhanced sensor performance to locate small, medium or large leaks more quickly and efficiently than ever before. The H-10 PRO utilizes a tried-and-true positive ion emission heated diode sensor and selectable sensitivity for the ultimate accuracy in pinpointing the leak source. Enclosed in a durable case with rugged shoulder strap and 4.5 foot (1.37 m) probe, the instrument also features a visible LED leak rate indicator on the probe tip as well as an audible buzzer. The H-10 PRO is the universal standard for checking halogen-based refrigerant leaks in commercial and residential applications. The H-10 Pro sensor uses positive ion emission technology, commonly known as a heated diode. It is very sensitive to only halon substances (refrigerants) making this product highly resistive to false alarming, while retaining superior sensitivity for pinpointing the most difficult to find refrigerant leaks. A pump inside the unit draws air through the probe to the sensor. The presence of refrigerant(s) causes the H-10 Pro to sound a speaker and illuminate an LED in the probe. Sensitivity to pinpoint small, medium, and large leaks can be controlled by setting the Leak Size switch Panel Controls Adjusting the Sensitivity Set the Leak Size switch as follows. Large Medium Small SMALL switch position is the highest sensitivity. The unit will indicate leak rates of 0.006 oz/yr or greater and is used for fluorine-based (HFC) gases like R134a.
